Mine was FMAB. When it came out in 2009, I wasn't feeling it. I thought it was average at best and ignored it. Then I decided to watch it in summer 2025. It was great, first anime that made me binge multiple episodes in one sitting in years.

The whole story would be hard to my teenger self to understand in 2009 with all references..etc. That's why I'm glad I watched years later.

Honorable mention: Monster, I watched it for the first time in 2020. One of the greatest anime I've seen. I won't have enjoyed it in 2004, I'm glad I watched it as an adult.
