Hello! My partner and I have been trying to figure out wether we should do a nikko day trip or not. We’ve been in many places that might be similar vibes (we’ve been in Japan 2 months and went to many less basic places like 2 week road trip in Nagano-Gifu, Wakayama-Koyasan trip, Hokkaido road trip etc.)
Our main concerns are long train rides, feeling rushed and many tourists.
Is it actually worth the day trip without feeling repetitive of places we visited throughout our trip?
