Advice for a bisqued 2 part planter that separated

So unfortunately this planter did not stay joined after bisque . . . I'm contemplating the following: 1. repair with slip + shredded paper +/- bisque fix; 2. just fire it in 2 pieces and attach later with E6000; 3. glaze these contact surfaces with rest of planter and fire together ("assembled") & hope glaze will fuse them.

Thoughts? Advice? I know whatever I do is not guaranteed, but I have nothing to lose at this point and I really like this planter. I do want to give it my best shot!
