My BFF is the library manager of a public library run by the city. The city attorney will not let any of the librarians become a notary due to liability to the city. I thought notaries had to be bonded and that would take catenof any liability. Just because I am bored and curious, by a librarian notariizing something for a library patron, what sort of liability could that opens the city to?

(Udderly-Moolicious. Verrrry yummy!!) They have a gooey butter cake ice cream (Moory Gooey). I was talking to my best friend who is now living in AL and realized that her kids had never had gooey butter cake! The HORROR!! So I mentioned I'd have to bring some the next time I visit...or we could make some. She looked up the recipe and was like " shouldn't be too hard. It's kind of a shortbread with a cheese cake layer." I was like, " There is nooo cheesecake in gooey butter cake." Then I got to googling...OMFG. The first 4 recipes I have found have cream cheese!!!! How did i not know this?? Or....are the interwebz messing with me?? Who has the best, most original, gooey butter cake recipe??
I may need to go lie down....
