The identities are:

(1) complex conjugate of (zw) = complex conjugate of z * complex conjugate of w

(2) z * complex conjugate of z = |z|^2

(3) complex conjugate of (exp(i*Phi)) = exp(-i*Phi).

(where z and w are complex numbers (meaning of the form x+iy).

Hi there, I realised, that I do not really understand the following complex identities and was hoping someone could give me either an intuitive understanding or an algebraic derivation for them. Genrally speaking, when it comes to identities involving addition, I do easily understand them, since addition of complex numbers is just vectoraddition, and thus visually graspable. However, when identities involve some kind of multiplication, then I am out unfortunately. Maybe someone can help out and/or recommend good resources, i.e. youtube videos or such.

Thanks in advance and have a great day :)
