Advice for med school after a levels
Hi everybody!
I’m almost done with my a levels and I want to apply to a med school in Pakistan and I got mostly A and A* in o levels and in AS levels I got ABB. I will give the mdcat this year and apply with that but could I get some advice from someone who’s already gone through the entire process and made it through ? Or any advice you can give me on how to make my profile better?
Such as any ECAs or shadowing doctors in the hospital or anything really. I am the eldest in my family so I don’t have anyone to guide me on how to go through with this as no one in my family is a doctor and also what to plan for later on in the future and what to watch out for so I don’t make any mistakes or have too much of a problem.
Also I am and overseas Pakistani so I have no idea what the aggregate is or how the merit is made and what the typical timings are for applying to uni here.
I would really love to hear all the input from people who’s just entered med school from a levels and how they reached there or even people who are deep into the field for a long time now 😊
