My progres on minoxidil (M21) for period of 7 months
I’ve been thinking about whether I should even upload these pictures, but honestly, without this subreddit I wouldn’t have gotten this far.
Progress Photos
These are photos showing my progress over time.
Only the first two photos have approximately the same hair length.
The last photo is cut much shorter.
The first photo was taken in November, the second in March, and the third in May.
Treatment
During this whole period, I only used 5% topical Minoxidil.
I use Minoxidil twice a day.
I recently started using topical Finasteride as well, and I’ll post future updates on how it works for me.
Consistency
Over those months, I probably forgot to apply it around twice a week on average.
I also had about 3–4 periods where I either forgot to bring it on a trip or forgot to buy a new one, so I didn’t use it for about 4 days in a row.
Side Effects
As for side effects, I sometimes get headaches (usually right after applying it), but it’s nothing you can’t get used to. And of course my hair changed color from blond to brown
