Hi all. I’m 39 based in LA. I’m working as an associate banker at Chase. Not happy with my income and the position due to how expensive life has become in LA.Trying to switch to accounting. My background is with a bachelor’s of science in business administration and no accounting major or experience. I took the accounting classes that is required to sit for CPA. Unfortunately they were online no zoom and when i asked questions to professors they e-mailed me which it wasn’t effective to grasp the material. I need to pass the CPA as soon as possible so i can pivot to accounting. What should i do? Should i go back to school and re take accounting classes in person? which might take a good amount of time to finish them with my full time job. Or should i get a Becker review right now and start studying without losing more time? Does becker or Uworld teaches from the scratch? Do they have enough resources for people who don’t have accounting background? Please i need guidance I appreciate any advice.
