I am deciding between two trucks. A 2013 Tacoma and 2019 f150. The Tacoma has 126k miles and f150 has 96k miles. I am hoping to get either one for around $20,000 based on what it is being offered for currently.
My previous vehicle was a f150 and I liked it but it started to have some issues towards the end. I haven't had a Tacoma before but I think it would fit my lifestyle well however I am worried about the age/mileage and paying the Toyota tax on an older vehicle.
There has been some mods to the Tacoma as well (suspension, front/rear bumper, etc.) and it appears the previous owner set it up for off-roading and I am not sure if that is a plus or a red flag.
My typical use is mostly commuting during the week in Denver, weekends camping/fishing in CO. Another thing is I potentially want to get a trailer and raft. I know fords would likely have a higher towing capacity but does anyone have any experience towing something similar with a Tacoma? Looking for opinions, pros/cons, general enlightenment....
