Tapping into the market of 2nd hand furniture and items
Lots of people coming and going in Dubai.
When you come, it's a struggle to find good quality furniture at an affordable price (and i mean really affordable). At the same time, people leaving the country sell their furniture for dirt cheap - even give away sometimes. On top of that there a lot of scammers around this market.
Dubai veterans know how to play the market - it's a matter of time scouting foe furniture on Dubizzle and having contacts of an affordable logistics company. But that's 5% of the people.
I'm looking to see if there is any merit to having a marketplace that strategically does more than Dubizzle in terms of providing fulfill storage like Amazon does, but also has delivery, and is sales commission based. Plus perhaps with some publishing fee but not crazy like Dubizzle.
I'm just thinking out loud. It could offer the convenience of Amazon, trust of Airbnb and comprehensiveness like property finder.
