Hey everyone, I'm trying to find someone who can help me identify a ticking noise happening in my car, for the last almost year!. Ive only waited that long cause the mechanics ive talked to either didnt hear it or told me to wait for a light on my dash to come on.... ive been told its a lifter tick. But idk if it is because everything associated with the tick isnt matching whats happening with mine. theres 171,000km So when I start my vehicle, I let it warm up for about 5 min. Then the ticking will start, its doesn't get louder when I drive or turn or park, its just a steady ticking noise until the car is then turned off. And now its been making a spuddering noise on the right side of the car when I shut the car off. Ive always had my oil changes way before due dates, Ive never had a transmission flush done on it before but I did do a transmission change about a 6months ago or longer. My car is in great condition considering these symptoms im experiencing. Please help!!
