Twice i have been using a parents room recently (only have a 7 wk old), in Jetland Limerick. And twice people have opened the door, seen me and apologised before leaving. The first time was after I just entered the room on a woman doing a toddler nappy change, with my screaming newborn who needed to be fed asap. The thought didnt even cross my mind whether she wanted privacy or not- the room is massive and has different areas. I just said hi and sat down!
Are these rooms not for multiple parent use? I remember the room in mothercare in the Crescent which was always parents coming and going.
I really dont care if you want to change a baby while I sit in one of the 2 armchairs and nurse baby..... do others?? I dont care if you are a man either. There is no lock on the door and IMO its a room parents can use when needed- no need to queue outside the door!
