Need Advice Before My Nexon EV’s Second Service
Hi everyone,
I’ve been owning a Nexon EV for a little over 5 months now, and luckily I haven’t faced any issues so far. My second service is due soon, so I’m here for some advice from fellow owners.
Wanted to check — what usually happens during the second service? Which things are mandatory and which ones are optional?
Also, my car has bottomed out 2–3 times on speed breakers, so I’m planning to inspect the underside for any damage.
Do service centers usually push wheel balancing/alignment as a mandatory item during second service? I’m planning to get it done outside at an MRF franchise near my home instead.
Are there any hidden costs or unnecessary add-ons I should watch out for as well?
I also noticed the attached area above the left rear tyre (below charging socket) where some EV cables/connectors are exposed. Is this normal, or can this area be protected better in some way? Because of this, I’ve avoided pressure-wash car cleaning till now as I’m slightly worried about water hitting this area directly. Is that concern valid, or am I overthinking it?
Would really appreciate your suggestions and experiences.
