I never post on Reddit but, I just moved from NYC and feeling the vibe difference hard. The social scene feels really different.. less appearance-conscious, less put-together, just a different energy overall. I get that people here are more focused on their careers or whatever niche subculture thing, which I totally respect, just not really my scene.

For other NYC or LA transplants who made it work here, where did you end up finding your crowd? Specific neighborhoods, bars, workout classes, events, anything?

** I have to be here right now, live in pac heights, and if you think I sound shallow, that’s because probably bc (by your definition) I am.. ooops 😭
