I used my AirPods at the office, and I must have grabbed someone else's AirPods and put them in my case. This morning, when I checked Find My, I had my case, but my AirPods were at the office. I'm actually flying out of town now, and that's not my normal office, so I'll never see them again.

I'm trying to figure out how I can sync these new AirPods to my case and use them. I tried to follow directions online, which told me to have it forget the device and then then charge them for 20 minutes and hold the button on the back for 15 minutes w the case open until it blinks amber and then white but that didn't work. It went amber then green. Bluetooth isn’t recognizing the case. Any other advice on how I can get these AirPods to work for me?

I want to take a trip first week of August and looking for some advice on where to get a good redemption.

Background on me: Family of four with two boys 7 and 11. We live in California

Where we might want to go:

Option 1: Europe but Northern Europe as the rest will be boiling hot.

Option 2 Beach areas with great redemptions: I've heard there are some good ones in Mexico and the Andaz in Costa Rica. Any other beach spots?

Option 3 Asia: I know Japan has some amazing redemptions but not sure about going around town in the heat (similar to Europe)

Option 4: ?? What else am I not thinking of?
