My mom gave my son this scarf. She didn't make it but I think a friend or acquaintance did? Either way, my sons favorite colour is rainbow, so she thought of him.
I was going to ask her to repair this because, while I am just beginning to learn how to knit (I was in my late 30s or early 40s when I finally started to learn, i just turned 42), Portuguese knitting at that, I don't know how to fix knitting. I can crochet like its no bodies business, but knitting I'm just learning. And I've put it down for a while.
Now the really hard part. I missed my window, my chance, my learning opportunity. My mom just passed away last Feb. I just came across the scarf while I was going through a box trying to unpack/conglomeratae items.
I'm now a mess again. Please help. Please don't just say "you can find it on Youtube" I'm aware of that. That's how I learnt how to Portuguese knit. But I don't have the mental wherewithal to try to hunt something down right now.
