Should i wake my mice up to let them see their dead friend?

Unfortunately i had to drive to the vet last night to let my beloved mouse lady go.

I am now wondering if i should wake my other mice so they can come and inspect her body, because its really freaking me out to have their sister in my freezer.

I want them to be able to mourn, but i don’t think i have it in me to have her in my freezer for much longer.

Hello everyone, I don’t know who to turn to and i am devastated. My little girl has a tumor below her ear, ive been to the vet twice and the last time i went there they told me i should prepare myself for the very likely case that she will have to be euthanized soon. It is about 1 cm big. They also said to better do it too soon than too late, and that most rodent owners do it too late.

She scratches herself at the tumor and pretty much anywhere else on her body, other than that she is her curious, lovely self. She eats, plays and drinks like she normally would. But she scratched herself raw on her ear. There is a scab on it that she scratches open continuously.

I feel like i should let her go now, before she is too lethargic and in pain to move.

My whole family says that it would be cruel to rob her of her last joyous days and i see where they are coming from, but i just don’t know how to handle this. It is my first time owning mice and advice is very much appreciated. I love her endlessly.

Also, should i take the other mice to vet when she is being euthanized? So they understand she died? Or would it be bad to put them through the stress? Pls help me i have no one to talk to about this
