Having issues getting a nuc I installed 1 month ago drawing comb (SC first year beekeeper)
I’ve been feeding 1:1 sugar water and put a generous amount of fresh wax on the plastic foundation as well as spraying sugar water on the new frames to incentivize building comb. I’ve also tried moving frames around to get the bees to draw up at least one or two frames before I add the second deep. I’m worried the queen will get honey bound if I keep feeding because they have a ton of nectar/honey. Should I stop feeding or put the second deep on even though they haven’t fully drawn out any new frames?
I’ve heard that giving them too much space too quickly can have negative effects. Thanks in advance for your advice.
