Gear guilt

I am looking at yamaha stage customs bop kits.

It looks and sounds so premium. Like i am one click away from buying it but I own already a bop drumkit. And although I am teaching basically most of the week, alongside my main job, I don't gig much (or at all) due to my band playing a very niche genre, my inability to network with other musicians, and the fact that I am also a bit snobby about the people I play with and the type of music to play. I do however spend a fair amount of time in my room practicing, honing my craft and recording some little video for the gram... which in all honesty makes me quite happy.

But I feel that is not enough to have my 2nd (second and half if considering that i got 2 kicks for my main kit, a 20 and an 18 that I exchange based on the sound I want) bop kit

In case you're wondering my first kit is a drumcraft series 6. Sounds and looks really premium. But i over obsess over scratches and I try to avoid sharing the kit for this exact reason.

I know my wife will be mad about it.

So i am very tempted, at the same time i feel is a luxury that will make me feel guilty and will take space and money... I guess I just want you guys to help me consider pros and cons of a potential purchase.

Fusion sizes are the sweet spot imo

Also, I have been obnoxious in the past about not using dampening on the kick... I haven't for years in all honesty and I finally decided to put a little pillow inside my 20. I love some kick resonance but I must say that that the kick definition makes playing fast less messy and clear... kinda missed that
