I bought a used 2025 Tundra a few months ago. 12000 miles, known hail damage (drivable total loss, all repaired) but not a salvage title (dealership had clean title and we now have a clean title). On the app it said the warranty was still in effect. I took it in for a routine oil change and the technician said that they have it in their system as a “salvage title” and warranty was void. I called customer service and they said they view a “total loss” with a clean title as “salvage” and there was nothing they could do about it. What concerns me the most is that the 21-24 tundras are under recall for their engines failing at highway speeds and the technician said that if that happened to me it wouldn’t be covered. I’m pretty disappointed with Toyota after owning Toyota vehicles consistently since I started driving. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, I’m sure that car companies love to find reasons to remove a warranty from a car.
