Weighing my options

Alright y’all I’ve got a dilemma and I’m trying to weigh my options. I work remote in a call center. Started with member services and moved over to the medical management/prior-auth portion of the call center. I only took the job where I am at because I was given the ability to learn how to set up prior auths and build that skill, and the expectations around AHT and ACW weren’t as strict. Now after a month of joining, we are only allowed to build one type of auth and the rest is managing calls and worrying about service level (yes I know this is important, but my whole goal moving to this position was to build a transferrable skill and gain knowledge). Do I wait to see if they open a remote auth coordinator position or start looking elsewhere? I’m trying to get off the phones as the constant talking is causing my medical conditions to flare and pushing me to burnout faster.
I know the job market is trash right now so that’s where I’m hesitant to look at leaving. Open to your thoughts and suggestions. TIA

Hi all,

I’m new to the chronic illness realm. A bit of background-

I have a cardiologist, gastroenterologist, and am on the search for a rheumatologist. My PCP is hellbent on me having to take Levothyroxine (TSH 5.95, she wants me at 2). My cardiologist is settling around a dx of POTS/dysautonomia. My gastro dx IBS-M. NONE of them have run vitamin panels, inflammation markers, or looked for anything that could be tied into all of these. I’m over the back and forth.

Now to where I need some guidance. I want to order my own labs, since they won’t. Oddly, a lot of places like LabCorp or Quest will not run tests in NY.

If anyone knows of home test groups where I can order my own labs and evaluate on my own results, please let me know. I live in a small town and resources are hard enough to come by, let alone a specialist that will actually order what I ask for.

TLDR: Looking for resources to order my own labs to test things like vitamin levels, inflammation markers, and hormones aside from thyroid. Small town NY nowhere near a main city (closest is 1hr at best), and google has my head spinning. LabCorp and Quest are not an option.

Thank you in advance.
