Mini DFPlayer, strange Adkey behavior.
Hey Guys, thanks for your time in advance.
I’m using two mini DFPlayers (XY5200) as standalones so without Arduino.
I have five mp3 files (128kbps) on a 64gb SD card, and 5 buttons which each correspond to one file playing when it’s pressed. I have the same wiring with another miniDFPlayer mirrored on the other side, so that two people can listen to the stories at once.
Now the weird thing is that on both sides only three of the 5 buttons work, so button 1,2 & 4 play audio files 001.mp3, 002.mp3 & 003.mp3, while pressing button 3 & 5 just means silence.
I know that miniDFPlayers technically only take up to 32GB SD cards, so I was thinking that maybe that’s the problem ? But then it would make sense to me for all the mp3s not to be played instead of some working and some not.
So I suspect there’s something wrong with my adkey configuration but i can’t figure out what it is exactly.
I’ve included some pictures of the adkey schematic i’m following and my own construction (adkey section and full protoboard) Hopefully someone could take a glance at it.
