Hi everyone,

I’m a 2027 passout student, and TCS is currently visiting our campus for the Priority Institutes Recruitment Program (Batch of 2027).

I recently logged into my TCS NextStep profile and realized that I had originally created the account back in September 2024 without properly understanding that it would later be used for recruitment purposes (on-campus/off-campus).

Now I’m worried because:

• I don’t exactly remember which resume I had uploaded at that time.
• Some of my details may be outdated now.
• My college name/status has changed since then, and I’m unsure what I had selected while creating the profile.
• A lot of my achievements, skills, and profile information have changed over the past 2 years.

As soon as I noticed this, I mailed the concerned TCS career support/helpdesk team requesting clarification and assistance.

I wanted to ask:

• Has anyone faced a similar situation before?
• Can outdated details in an old NextStep profile affect campus placement eligibility or candidature?
• Is there any way to completely update/reset/remove previously uploaded details through support request or mail?
• How strict is TCS regarding older profile data versus currently updated information?

I’m honestly feeling quite stressed about this, so any genuine guidance or similar experiences would really help.
