Completed PEC's got a formal offer and been offered another job same department and directorate do I need to redo PEC's

I have emailed the recruitment but they usually take a while to respond so thought I would ask here. Completed PEC's got a formal offer and been offered another job same department and directorate do I need to redo PEC's? Has anyone had experience of this?

Edit:I know it depends on when the PEC's were complete. For my case I got the provisional job offer same day as my other PEC's were complete. I think there is a 112 day rule but can they not just use my previous instead of wasting money and doing another check.

An example of why pecs take so long

Filled the PEC forms. Previous civil servant so put previous employment and references. Getting references for previous roles is a struggle in itself as you need to get specific email addresses for HMRC and DWP. HMRC and DWP then have different processes with HMRC requiring consent form from ex employee. DWP a lot easier with their macro Excel request form they just confirm ex employee has confirmed. Civil service cabinet office grs sends email to sscl for reference. Cabinet office grs doesn't read their email properly and forwards me all communication chain telling me to fill out the reference request form myself when they could just do it. They have all the details.I need more details to fill out the reference form like where they should send the reference email address etc. Now in the email chain there is a link where I can click and just fill out the reference myself.... It would take 2 minutes and took my private employer 2 minutes. Does anyone else find this ridiculous? I also got another separate message from GRS saying they couldn't access my PAYE record despite my approval and if I could send them the records. I did. Has anyone else experienced this or anything similar?

HMRC TSP- Does which regional centre you work in effect your work?

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. I was thinking does the regional centre which you work at effect your work and where you are likely to stream off too and how? I was thinking about it and my initial thoughts were London offices like Stratford and Croydon would have bigger cases with big headquarters and the more affluent people living there and somewhere like Portsmouth they will be more likely dealing with Customs. I would be interested to know.
