Hi all. I had thrifted the mug on the right and I’m hoping to recreate the one on the left. It’s Mino Ware from Japan.

Any suggestions for what is used on the outside? I’m guessing the black is underglaze, but the brown is a textured matte finish. It’s not exposed raw clay because the foot shows white clay.

Any tips are appreciated!!
