Hi everyone — I’m looking for some direction and would really appreciate any insight.
I’m a licensed esthetician based in New York with almost 6 years of experience, and I’ve been running my own business for the past few years. Before that, I worked in an operations/management role for about 4 years, so I have a strong background in both client-facing work and business operations.
I’m starting to explore transitioning into a more stable, corporate/remote position within the beauty or skincare industry (or something adjacent where my experience would still be relevant).
Some areas I’ve been considering:
Brand education / training
Account management
Customer success
Sales (B2B or professional skincare lines)
Corporate roles within skincare companies
I’m curious:
What companies should I be looking into?
Are there specific job titles I should be searching for?
Has anyone here made a similar transition from esthetics to corporate?
Any tips on making my experience translate better on a resume?
I’m open to remote roles and willing to pivot slightly if it makes sense long-term.
Appreciate any advice — thank you!
