Hi guys! New to the neighborhood 🙋🏻‍♀️ (and to the U.S. too).

I’m from Spain and I’ve never had to do laundry outside my own home before.

I’m pretty particular about my clothes, and I’d prefer to use my own washing machine settings (I know many laundromats have self-service machines). But while reading reviews of some laundromats around me, I noticed people sometimes think it’s rude to use the dryers there without having washed your clothes in that same place first.

So my question is: would it also be considered rude to wash my clothes there and then take them home wet to hang dry on hangers?

I work in fashion, so I really don’t like using dryers either 🥲 but I also don’t want to come across as disrespectful.

Also, on a different note… if you happen to know any good laundromats near 1st Ave between 65th and 80th St, I’d really appreciate the recommendation.

Thanks so much in advance for your help!
