Hi everyone! I’m currently a high school junior in OC and I’ve been trying to find volunteer opportunities to strengthen my experience in preparation or applying to neuroscience in college.

Another interest of mine is mental health, so anything related to patient support, community health programs, any suggestions or even research exposure would be awesome.

I’ve looked into a few structured programs (like hospital volunteer programs), but a lot seem closed now (already May) or pretty competitive right now. I’d really appreciate any recommendations for places that are currently accepting high school students, or tips on how to get involved in this field during the summer or next school year before apps.
