Laine?

I know most of us (myself included) want to see Ovi play another year, but if he decides to retire should the Caps try to sign Laine in free agency?

You're never just going to just straight replace Ovi 1 for 1 but Laine still has the elite shot the Caps will be in need of without him. It's looking more and more like Laine will be a UFA but probably an expensive one, although the team does have the cap space. Do y'all think this would be a viable way for the team to stay competitive?
