I applied to the barista job at my local Starbucks.

4/19 - Interview with store manager.

4/24 - Interview with district manager. It seemed to go well and I was told I should be hearing back from the store manager shortly with next steps.

The store manager tells me a background check has begun and they are waiting on it to finalize before onboarding can begin. It’s been over a week and I still haven’t heard anything back. How long do background checks typically take? And is there anything I need to fill out? I never got anything. This is my first job, I’m a U.S. citizen, and have no criminal history.
