We have a couple gaps like this here and there where the boards didn’t quite want to suck in to the tongue and groove. Is there anything I should do to fill it? Or just leave it?
We are refinishing our floor by ourselves and found ourselves in a pickle. We started installing hardwood floors and didn’t realize you shouldn’t install them over particle board (I know, we’re idiots). We thought it was ok because we have 2 inch cleat nails and osb beneath. We have quite a bit done and are now wondering if we need to rip all our flooring out? And remove the particle board? We ripped one board out and it was beastly to even remove. Do we just keep going?? Has anyone installed hardwood over particle board and it ended up being ok?? Thanks in advance
