What Fish Should I Get?

I'm looking for fish/a fish that would be pretty/cute, and relativley easy to take care of. I want to give whatever fish I decide on the best life as possible. Im 15, and would have to pay for most things by myself, so something cheaper would be ideal. I love the look of Telescope Goldfish, and Angel fish, but I'm trying to decide if either of those would be good for me to keep. I don't want to own a fish and not take care of it properly so, which fish should I get in order to give it a great life?

Notes: I would be okay with live plants and feeding live/frozen food. Though I would prefer a solitary fish, or one that does well in a pair. I also would like to add 1-2 snails to my tank? Not sure if that affects anything.

(Tips, tank suggestions etc. are appreciated greatly)
