Flashforge AD5X bricked after firmware update — E0120, no heaters/motors, USB updates no longer work
Hi everyone, I really need help with my AD5X because it seems partially bricked after a firmware update.
I updated the printer firmware, after rebooting, the printer started showing error E0120 , The initial setup/calibration cannot complete because: heaters do not work, motors do not move, temperatures stay at 0/0°C, also the UI/screen still works normally and the printer still shows the Zmod boot logo
Current symptoms:
- Nozzle and bed never heat
- Steppers do not respond
- Calibration wizard gets stuck
- Factory reset does not fix it
- Downgrading firmware does nothing
- Reinstalling/removing Zmod does nothing
- The printer no longer seems to detect USB update files at all
- Ethernet connects physically, but I cannot access the printer IP anymore
- It feels like Klipper/MCU services never start
This happened immediately after the firmware update and I already tried with factory reset, firmware downgrade, try to remove Zmod and nothing changes.
The strange thing is that Zmod start screen still appears ,but the printer ignores all update/recovery files almost like the system is booting from a corrupted partition and never mounting USB
