I currently go to a state school that I can not afford. I know this sounds redundant, but based on my spring performance, I will have a 3.7 GPA. I applied for fall 2026 and am getting nervous because I have yet to hear back from any of my schools.

I did the calculations, and if I take summer classes and take X amount of credit hours for this upcoming fall, I can bring my GPA back to 3.87 with 60 credits and apply again.

I would like to know if I can do this to bounce back from the rough semester I've had, or if this is still considered a low GPA for transfer applicants.

During this time at CC, I would retake the SAT, do research, and expand on my extracurriculars.

If anyone could give guidance, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Although I do not have a dream school now, when I was first rejected from my top choice, I fell into my dad's arms and cried for hours.

I'm glad that rejection has made me into a more mature and humble student, but college decisions are so bittersweet. I was rejected from one of my topic choices today and didn't cry.

I moved on and still have more decisions to make. All it takes is one guys. i wish yall the best.
