I am genuinely too scaredy cat to play this game man. Im on Day 11 right now, and went into the Black Forest to get Corewood for my Finewood Bow on day 9. I was successful eventually on Day 10, but not before getting my ass mauled by a bear. I picked a fight with him again later, drawing him a bit into the meadows, but he proved far too strong and was taking no damage from my wooden club. I just ran after that. Also I'm playing on the 2nd lowest difficulty (may switch to the lowest) and have raids turned off with the lowest possible death penalty
