I'm not being dramatic. Hundreds.
The ones that did reply? Rejected. Fine, fair enough. But the ones that just… never responded? I'd go back and read the job description again and think — I literally check every box here. Why am I being ghosted by a Google Form?
And then there's the JDs themselves. Some of them read like they're hiring one person to do the job of eight. "5 years of experience in a framework that's 3 years old. Must be a team player AND a self-starter AND a visionary AND available on weekends." Sir, this sounds like a mythological creature.
Anyway. I built HireHoo.
For candidates:
- Resume analyser — tells you what's actually weak before a recruiter silently judges you
- Resume builder — because yes, everyone's using AI now, you should too
- Interview Mentor -- someone to guide you on how to answer your interview.
For recruiters:
- Bulk resume processing — upload the 300 applications and get ranked results back—no more vibes-based hiring.
- Arena — AI interviews your top candidates based on your actual JD. You get a real signal before you've spent a single hour on a call.
- JD writing agent — checks the current market and helps you write job descriptions that actual humans can meet. Please use this.
That last one is for the people writing "10 years of React experience" in 2019.
