I went on a first date with a guy about a week ago and we both expressed that we enjoyed the date and would like to continue hanging out. In the midst of this, something happened to where he is unable to focus on dating right now but he’s still interested. I told him that he could reach out when he got everything sorted. He is also weary of relationships because he’s had constant trouble in the past. I want to let him know that I like him and that I’m available if he needs anything, but I don’t know if it’s too early or if it may be overstepping. What should I do?
