Locked out of newly created Gmail account because of wrong recovery phone number - any way to recover it?
Hi everyone,
I recently created a new Gmail/Google account, but I think I accidentally added the wrong recovery phone number while setting it up.
Now I’m locked out of the account and Google keeps asking me to verify using that number. The account also has a recovery email connected, but Google is not letting me recover the account through the email either.
Today I:
- Tried to signin
- Even the pwd is correct google is asking me for verify with the contact no
- Tried account recovery multiple times
But now Google keeps asking for the old/wrong contact number again and again, and after too many attempts it temporarily blocked me from trying further.
Has anyone faced something similar?
Is there ANY possible way to recover the account using the recovery email, device history, IP, or anything else?
It’s a newly created account, so I don’t have much activity on it yet.
