How in advance can I apply for a special consideration
I’ve been really sick the past few days and have an MST coming up next week. I have a fever and haven’t been able to get out of bed or study at all so I’ve been considering applying for special consideration.
The thing is, I’m worried about the possibility of my application getting rejected. Since this is my first time applying for special consideration for an exam I’m not really sure how the applicaitontiming works.
Would it be better to apply a week before the exam, or wait until 1–2 days beforehand (to get an HPR from the GP again)?
I understand the deadline is 4 days after the assessment, but I’m not sure whether applying too early affects the chances of approval. Ideally, I’d like to know whether my special consideration request (likely re-weighting of the assessment) would be granted before the exam, just for peace of mind.
If anyone has experience with this process, I’d really appreciate any advice.
