Hi! I just adopted today a few hours ago a 4 month old kitten. She was a street cat and is very jumpy and afraid. Since she got here, she went under the bed and hasn´t come out not even to eat or drink or use the litter box. My bed has a desk right next to it, so i put her litter box, food and water under it so she has easy access.

What should i do now? What is the process going to be like?

P.S. I have another cat that is almost 2 years old and i´ve had her since she was 1 month old, so i dont know how to deal with a kitten this scared because my resident cat was always outgoing and confident.
