A little lost after my 1L grades… real land of (con)trasts

I got a A+ and a C+ in the two Cons

A+ - Contracts

B+ - Property

B - Torts

B - Criminal Law

B - Legal Systems

C+ - Constitution

Pass - Legal Methods

Sucks because my midterm grades were 3 B+ and 3 B which seems better to me than getting a C+?? (also worse than 70% of our class according to last year's grade stats which is oof - everyone in our school is so fricking smart, yes I kinda lowkey love my classmates but their brains are just too big for me to compete).

GPA is 3.28 but it's on our 4.5 scale so that's like 2.91 on a 4.0 scale.

I’m at Manitoba, and I’m not aiming for Bay Street or clerkships, but wondering if based on these grades, it would be worth it to still try for the formal 2L OCIs in the fall for a local Prairies Big Law firm/Crown position or just focus on trying to improve my grades in 2L?
