I come back to ETW every few years, and then abandon it again because of bugs. Through mods, most bugs have been fixed and the game is enjoyable.

My last attempt a few years back ended when I remembered the Port Bug. I love playing a Britain and Liverpool will emerge very quickly as a port with the lowest prosperity. Because of the bug, it will never grow past this. This also affects emerging towns in the region as they can not be more prosperous than the poorest port. Everything just emerges and stagnates.

Did a patch or mod ever fixed this? I'm now running PUA for the first time, and before I get too invested, I want to know if I will run in to the same issue.
