Calculus 3 online or in person?

Hey everyone, I'm an incoming freshman going to university, and I'm planning on taking Calc 3 at a local community college because I heard the University Math department is really strict and difficult. I was wondering if I should do Calc 3 in person or online at the local CC? It would be about 16 minutes from my university. And the drive to the University is about 25-30 minutes. I'd like it in person because of how hard Calc 3 is to visualize, but at the same time, online would be a much easier time, and transportation-wise.

Only one professor is teaching Calc 3 at the local CC, and her reviews are pretty okay, some bad, and some good. Some people say she doesn't teach well and that you'll have to self-study a lot. Which, in that case, I'm thinking it might be better to just do online if I'm gonna self-study.

For some context, I'm going to major in Electrical Engineering, so I would like a solid foundation in Calc 3. I'll also be taking Physics 1 and a couple of electrical engineering courses with it, and Political Science 2311. The only hard classes would be Physics 1, Calculus 3, and a coding EE course.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts and comments.

Thank you.

Calc 3 online or in-person?

Hey everyone, I'm an incoming freshman at UTA, and I'm planning on taking Calc 3 at TCC because I heard the UTA Math department is really strict and difficult. I was wondering if I should do it in person at TCC or online? It would be at the SE campus (About 16 minutes from UTA). I live near the NE Campus, and the drive to UTA is about 25-30 minutes. I'd like it in person because of how hard Calc 3 is to visualize, but at the same time, online would be a much easier time, and transportation-wise.

Only one professor is teaching Calc 3 at TCC SE, and her reviews are pretty okay, some bad, and some good. Some people say she doesn't teach well and that you'll have to self-study a lot. Which, in that case, I'm thinking it might be better to just do online if I'm gonna self-study.

There are only two professors for Calculus 3 at UTA, and they both have terrible Rate My Professor reviews, so I was wondering if it would be smart to take Calc 3 through TCC or DCC instead, because of the harsh stuff I've heard about the UTA math department.

TCC Southeast campus (closest to UTA) only has one professor teaching, and her reviews are rough as well, mainly just having to self-teach.

I was thinking of maybe doing Dallas College online Calculus 3 during the fall to avoid the bad professors at UTA or TCC. I mean, if it's gonna feel like it would be self-taught at UTA and TCC, then might as well take it online at DCC.

But I'm not sure if anyone has been through calc 3 at any of these colleges or has any advice or comments in general. I'd love to hear it.

I just passed my Clep Calculus test and got a 68. I did do AP Calc AB this past year, but couldn't take the AP Exam.

I want to take Calculus 2 at a local community college in person. I feel like I would learn better there, but it would only be 5 weeks long and be really short and difficult to accomplish. Or I could take it online at a different CC that would be 10 weeks long for the whole summer, but I feel like I would have to self-teach more and wouldn't learn that deeply or well.

Context: I'm currently a senior and planning to do a BS in Electrical Engineering. I do like math and genuinely enjoy it, but I heard Calc 2 is a different beast and maybe the hardest out of all the Calculus sequences.

I'd love to hear any advice or thoughts on what to take or do, or your experiences.

Thanks
