Should I stick with my Biochem major?

Hi so I’m a pre-PA student and obviously I need a high overall gpa, and a high science gpa to even be considered a competitive enough applicant. However, I am also a Biochemistry major, which makes it pretty difficult since chem classes at UH are known to be tough, so I have to work really hard to even get B’s, let alone A’s. Do yall think i should stick it out with a biochem major, or should i switch to bio since the courses to fulfill the degree are very similar? I initially chose to study biochem for the research aspect, as i could probably do research in case i don’t get into PA school right away. I also just really enjoy chemistry, but I find it tough at times. I also need PCE (patient care hours) so i’ll be busy while still in school in case i do start working during the semester, which would probably make it harder to put in time to study. I just finished off Organic Chemistry 2 lecture, which was pretty tough. For the Biochemistry majors: are the rest of the courses above Orgo 2 just as hard, or harder? Or would you same similar difficulty?

I’m sorry for so many questions, i’m just really conflicted about my major right now, i need to know if it’s worth the struggle 🥲
