I’m currently an IHCRA at a CRO and have recently had interviews with a few companies as a TMF Specialist. I know many IHCRAs move into being traveling CRAs and while the work sounds interesting, I am at a point in my life where traveling might be difficult. Does anyone know if going the TMF route is a good field, or if everything is going to be outsourced or automated in the future? What future possibilities are there in TMF, or what if I end up working in TMF services and hate it? I do like TMF work but I’m thinking long term here and want to make sure I set myself up for success.
