Not sure if I'm missing something or just going mad here but brand new to the Hiby community to happy to give my new device the benefit of the doubt / assume I'm missing something.
Working on an M5 Macbook Pro on Tahoe 26.3
I've updated all the firmware to the latest build, have downloaded the MTP files etc direct from the website and neither Open MTP or Android File Transfer can see the R3. It can't be seen / tethered on Bluetooth either. Thus far the only way I've been able to move audio files onto the device is via the Import Music Via WiFi setting and even within that I can't drag and drop folders. If I want folders / subfolders to be recognised I have to manually create them then drag the files in: not the end of the world but pretty clumsy for a DAP in 2026.
I also can't pair my Google Buds Pro 2 headphones either. The R3 doesn't seem to be able to detect them in pairing mode. It also can't detect my Soundcore speaker in pairing mode. Both the speaker and headphones can see each other / my laptop / phone etc so I think the issue is the R3 end.
Am I massively uninformed on how these players work or should it be simpler than this to get an audio device up and running quickly? Have been troubleshooting for nearly three hours now.
