Hello everyone, I'm an external student interested in the labs at NYUAD. I missed the deadline for applications for the visiting summer research undergraduate roles (and most of the labs I found interesting weren't available besides the Advanced Microfluidics Lab). I'm interested in the following labs:

1. Applied Computational Engineering Lab (ACE)
2. Computational Solid Mechanics Lab (CSM)
3. Laboratory of Applied Nonlinear Dynamics (LAND)
4. Center for Stability, Instability, and Turbulence (SITE)
5. Astrophysics lab
6. Advanced Microfluidics and Microdevices Laboratory (AMMLab)

Is there any hope in reaching out to the PIs and professors directly and asking about possible opportunities or is that a dead end?
