Hello!
I have been on the pill Junel 24 FE for over 3 years. This is the best pill for me factoring in side effects and generally how it makes me feel.
However, for the past 4 months, including now, I have been spotting at least a week before I even get to my placebo/sugar pills. No other side effects have happened, the spotting is just annoying now at this point. My bleeding on my sugar pills also always happens despite having had spotting the week before.
Is this anything of concern? Will it go away? Do I need to bring up to my PCP about switching to a BC with higher estrogen? To note, I am on BC mainly to help my PCOS symptoms, but I am rarely sexually active (long distance relationship).
Hope anyone has any advice. I've tried looking this up for other people's issues on Reddit, but everyone only ever talks about spotting as a side effect in the first months of use, not ever years-long use.
