I’m looking for advice on how to ask my company if I can work remotely after relocating.

I’m in my first corporate job and have been here about 6 months. I genuinely love my job, but I don’t love the location and want to move closer to my loved ones. I’m currently in a hybrid role, and while my company has remote employees, no one on my direct team is fully remote. I also feel more productive on my remote days.

I’d be willing to keep the same hours, stay fully available and can travel in for important meetings etc. I would be moving only a state away (5-6 hour drive)

I’m scared they’ll say no and I’ll have to look elsewhere, which I really don’t want to do because I love my job. Has anyone navigated this successfully?
