After years of playing FH4 and 5 with my controller, I decided to get ready for 6 by upgrading to the Logitech Playseat with RS50 wheel and RS pedals. Been trying it out for over a month and my gameplay has really fallen and I’m not improving much. I went from racing pro/unbeatable with all assists turned off to needing highly skilled AI to maybe win with stability control turned on.
I can jump back on the controller and play to my old level but now realize how much I flip the joystick back and forth and constantly modulate the brake and accelerator back and forth. I doubt I can ever be that athletic with my sim cockpit. Feels like the ability to effortlessly control and correct a skid is beyond me with the wheel and pedal controls.
Tried the Logitech recommended settings for my hardware. It’s ok and I have adjusted from that baseline. Anyone have any setting recommendations for the hardware or on the game?
